YO! Name's SlvrNight (or just "Slvr" for short). I'm a digital artist looking for places to share my work and meet other artists, so I figured why not give this place a shot?

You'll mainly see my own characters here, since I've been working on stories and designs for them for years and I have a lot of fun working on them. But, of course, I dont think any artist can escape the urge to do some fan art, so you'll see some of that here and there too. At the moment, I use Clip Studio Paint for the bulk of my process and Photoshop for finishing touches.

I'm massively into both video games and comic books/manga, and anime. Fighting games, horror games, and RPGs tend to be the top genres for me. Some favorites off the top of my head would be the Darkstalkers games, Killer Instinct, Tekken, the Xenosaga trilogy (we ever getting a re-release of that?), the Mass Effect trilogy, Deus Ex series, Silent Hill 3, Dead Space, and Final Fantasy VII. Bonus points if it deals with interesting twists on monsters, sci-fi, or modern fantasy settings.

For comic books, manga, and anime, if you have an engaging story with good characters then I'm willing to give it a shot. Been a big fan of superheroes since a kid (watched the 90's Spider-Man, X-Men, and Batman shows, so of course) and my introduction to Dragon Ball Z back then also really turned me into a fan of crazy action scenes. The Ghost in the Shell (animated) movie and Cowboy Bebop are what started my love of sci-fi and the potentially complex themes the genre can touch, as well as made me realize just how much I appreciated well-written and engaging stories.

Because of all that, I started making my own characters with their own interweaving stories. Still working on all that to this day during what little free time I have (gotta love that adult life). But that's also made me very interested in seeing the designs, stories, and personalities of other people's characters as well. It can be some crazy inspiration.
